Men’s Level I Hard Skills Self-Defense Course: Duration: 4 hours (Ages 14 & up)

Course Overview: Our Men’s Level I Hard Skills Self-Defense Course is specifically designed to equip participants with the necessary awareness and hands-on training to effectively handle potentially dangerous situations.

In this comprehensive 4-hour course, exclusively tailored for men, you will learn techniques to anticipate and control both violent and non-violent encounters. Drawing from statistical evidence of violence against men, this course aims to empower you with the skills needed to protect yourself or your loved ones in potentially harmful scenarios. Throughout the training, we will incorporate our E.A.R.R.D.S™ principles to guide your learning and application.

By focusing on attacks commonly experienced by men, we emphasize the importance of situational awareness in navigating hazardous situations. We introduce participants to the E.A.A.R.D.S principles, which are consistently referenced throughout the course. Additionally, we provide practical hands-on training to reinforce these principles, ensuring you can effectively create distance to secure your own safety or that of others.

The Level I course covers various essential topics, including proper body positioning, verbal and physical response tactics, characteristics of aggressor behavior, effective space management, threat assessment, mental health considerations, and more. To enhance your learning experience, specific drills are employed to reinforce easily retrievable and actionable movements. The culmination of the course involves practical application using our specialized Spartan training suits.
