Awareness: Potential Predator Body Language Copy

When  doing an initial assessment of your environment, be aware  of anyone exhibiting potential predator body language such as:

  • Unusual movements such as touching face, rubbing neck or possibly touching ears or nose
  • Hiding hands in pockets or in a bag as if they are searching for something but don’t pull their hands out
  • Jittery or sweating
  • An inappropriate smile or grin, reddening of the face
  • They appear to be in a “jump” or  “ready” to attack position
  • They are watching the exit as if they are looking to make a quick exit or block it off
  • And eye language, which we’ll cover in the next slide with more detail
